The Paulsboro Fire Department conducted a drill with Marine 17 this evening on the Mantua Creek. The boat was put into the water for the first time this year after it was out for some major repairs. The boat was re-wired and had the fuel system repaired.

Firefighters of the Paulsboro FD drilled this evening on pumping operations with Engine's 1711 & 1721. Officers instructed on hooking up to hydrants, pump training, & simulated fire training with the firefighters and apparatus. The training was done on Huff Avenue.

Officers and firefighters drilled this evening on operational equipment from Engine's 1711, 1721, Rescue 1718 and the inhouse Air Machine. Firefighters went over each piece of equipment and were required to operate it.

NOTE CHANGE OF MEETING DATE! The 3rd FD meeting of the year will be held on Monday,June 30TH 2008,(instead of the 9th) at the Paulsboro fire station. It will begin at 7 p.m. All members are encouraged to attend.

During a recent drill, members of the Paulsboro tried out some new extrication tools at the Paulsboro Firehouse.

(These are Gloucester County Fire Academy courses.) I-400; Dec. 11th & 12th, 0800-1600 & 0800 to 1230. NOTE: BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR RESPECTIVE STATION FOR FULL INFORMATION ON ALL COURSES OFFERED. See Assistant Chief Al Giampola if you wish to attend any courses. (Camden County courses are posted at each station).

For the rest of the year, here is a schedule of the Paulsboro Fire Department meetings for 2007. These are subject to change by the Executive Committee.  . Monday, November 12th at Billingsport(Nominations). Monday, December 3rd at Paulsboro (Elections). All meetings, except for the December meeting, start at 7 p.m.
The December meeting will begin at 8 PM.
